"Vehicles (Basic)" by John Timmons

Release along with the source text and a website.

The story description is "The vehicle object allows us to create something that we can get into and drive (or ride in) such as a car, truck, van, bus, etc."

The Garage is a room. "The driveway is south from here."

[You can get into your vehicle by typing 'get in jetta', 'sit in jetta', or 'enter jetta'. To get out of the vehicle, you can type 'exit' or get out'. To drive the vehicle, simply type in the direction you wish to go just as you normally would.]

The Jetta is a vehicle in the Garage. The description is "Yup, this has been a great little car to get around all these years." Understand "car" as Jetta. [1]

The Driveway is south of the Garage. "Your garage is north and the street is east of here."

The Street is east of the Driveway. "Your driveway is west of here."

[The action for getting in a vehicle is 'entering the [vehicle]' and the action for getting out of a vehicle is simply 'exiting'.]

After entering the Jetta:

say "You hop in and start the engine."

After exiting:

say "You turn off the engine and get out."

Note

[1]. This addtional understand sentence allows the player to also use the word car to refer to the Jetta.
