What Next for Everyone

So the first phase of the Libby issue has been litigated. But in my view, if this is the only result, if this is the only guy who can be prosecuted, then we’re basically screwed and the future looks bleak for American political credibility. He’s small fry. Can we not go deeper, ever?

    What, and actually punish those responsible for their misdeeds? 90% of the governing body of the US would be imprisoned. Okay, that’s too cynical… would you say 65%?

    Sure, why not?

    Maybe I’m an idealist, but what is it exactly that makes it so hard fpr people in power to either say “no” or take actual responsibility. Wait, I’m forgetting Macbeth.
