Vehicles

< Back Home

  • Basic Vehicles
The vehicle object allows us to create something that we can get into and drive (or ride in) such as a car, truck, van, bus, etc.
  • Rideable Vehicles
The rideable vehicle object allows us to create something that can be ridden such as a horse, bicycle, motorcycle, skateboard, or even a sea horse. This example uses the Rideable Vehicles extension written by Graham Nelson included in every copy of Inform 7.
  • Riding a Horse
Creating a horse with the rideable vehicle object and demonstrates some of the possibilities. This example is based on the 'Vehicle Testing Center' example in the Rideable Vehicles extension documentation written by Graham Nelson.
  • Flying Broom
A simple use of the rideable vehicle object where we create a flying broom. This uses the Rideable Vehicles extension written by Graham Nelson and is included with every copy of Inform 7.
  • Limiting Where You Can Drive
What if you want to limit where a player can drive their vehicle? This example provides one solution using regions to prevent driving a car through a house.
